Press Release : Australia Bangladesh Business Council (ABBC) holds a Media Conference with media personnel in Sydney on Friday, 2 September 2016 7:30 pm at Kosturee Restaurant, 6-8 Frederick Street, ROCKDALE.

The main purpose of the conference was to convey the message about ABBC Business Award Presentation 2016. The event is to recognise and reward the Bangladesh Business community in Australia.

The Awards will be honoured in EIGHT (8) Categories this year. It will be a prestigious recognition of your business in the community.

1) International Trade (Importers and Exporters)

2) Food & Hospitality (Restaurants and Take away)

3) Professional and Services Category (Lawyers, doctors, accountants, real estate agents, Travel Agents, Developers, Architect firms and Builders etc)

4) Media and Communication

5) Information, Computing & Technology (ICT)

6) Retail Trade (Clothing, Groceries & other retail shops)

7) Young Entrepreneur (below age25)

8) Social and Community Work (Organisation, Individual or Group)

For each category there will be 1 final winner to be selected from 3 nominees. Each winner will be awarded with an Attractive Plaque and each nominee will be awarded with a Certificate.

Nomination and Participation:

FREE ABBC welcome each business entity to nominate their businesses for each of the categories above. There will be only one nomination available for each business for each category.

Please contact us via return email info@abbc.org.au to send you the nomination form and the guideline. The winners will be chosen from the nominees by our distinguished and respectable Panel of 5 Judges. We will introduce The Panel to our audience at the ceremony night.

VENUE: NOVOTEL HOTEL – BRIGHTON LE SAND

EVENT ENTRY FEE: $100.00 PER PERSON (3 COURSE DINNER)

Participants’ Profile: The guests include Honourable High Commission of Bangladesh in Australia, honourable local parliament members, distinguished business personnel from both Australia and Bangladesh, academics and media personnel.
